STAFF ACCOUNTANT – ACCOUNTING SERVICES

 

The successful applicant will support the provision of accounting services to a portfolio of clients consisting of trusts, companies, limited partnerships and investment vehicles.  Duties will include the maintenance of computerised records and assisting in the preparation of financial statements in conformity with US GAAP and IFRS.

 

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail oriented and must have excellent oral and written communication skills as the post requires both internal and external client interaction and liaison with financial professionals. A demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and to meet tight deadlines is a pre-requisite as is a willingness to work overtime as necessary.  The successful candidate must also be computer literate.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Working towards a recognised accounting designation (ACCA, CA, CPA) or graduate with an accounting or finance degree
  • 2 years practical accounting experience.

 

Benefits:

  • US$40,000 to US$65,000 per annum commensurate with qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.  A full package of benefits is also offered including, pension, health and life insurance.

STAFF ACCOUNTANT / FUND ACCOUNTANT – R&H PRIVATE FUND SERVICES

 

The successful applicant will support the provision of fund administration and accounting services to a portfolio of clients consisting of hedge funds, private equity funds, segregated portfolio companies and special purpose vehicles.  Duties will include preparing net asset valuation calculations, investor statements, capital calls, distributions and wire transfers. The successful applicant will also assist in preparing audit support schedules and financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP. Duties will also assist in the collection and preparation of due diligence files both for our fund clients and their underlying investors.
