Katharine advises families on the structuring of their business and personal interests with a focus on international aspects. She has managed significant family projects handling a broad range of queries and works with many advisors internationally to service the needs of clients.
Following nine years of experience across general practice and professional teaching, Katharine joined Rawlinson & Hunter in 2015 as member of the Business Tax Department assisting clients to efficiently structure their affairs as well as meeting the demands of associated compliance. In January 2018 she commenced a secondment to the Firm’s Singapore office where she spent three years advising clients in Asia on their UK tax exposure, structuring both personal and business interests internationally and leading and developing the local tax services in Singapore.
Katharine returned to Rawlinson & Hunter in the UK with extensive knowledge of the Singapore tax system and incentives available and a strong understanding of the international exposure for those with muliti-jurisdictional interests. She is a key component to our family office services which works to the needs of families internationally, particularly across the UK, Singapore and the Cayman Islands.
Katharine is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
